What to Expect: ATBs' 6-Step Project Process
Step 1: Discuss Your Vision or Let ATB Design It
We begin with a quick conversation to understand your vision, goals, style, and priorities.

Step 2: Submit Project Details & Photos
To move forward, we require two forms:
- Contact Information Form
- Project Planning Form
Click the green Contact Form button just below step 6 to get started. Once the first form is completed, you’ll be automatically directed to the second—both are required so we can properly review your project.
📸 Please also send:
- Photos of the work areas (close-up + wide view)
- A full view of your home or building
- Inspiration photos (if you have them)
- Rough measurements (optional)
👉 Rough measurements are only needed if you’d like a free preliminary ballpark price range before scheduling a consultation
This step typically takes 4–7 minutes and helps us give you accurate guidance from the start.
Step 3: Receive a Ballpark Price Range (and Schedule Your Consultation)
After we review your completed forms, photos, and any rough measurements- we will send a complimentary ballpark price range that we think your project could land in. Once this range aligns with your expectations, we will then schedule an on-site consultation to review project details and finalize the scope of work together. (Most clients find this step extremely helpful in understanding what their project will realistically take before investing time into a full consultation).
Step 4: On-Site Consultation
During your consultation, we will:
- Discuss your goals, budget, expectations, and timeline
- Review layout, materials, and design options
- Walk through how the project will be built
- Take accurate measurements
This is where we make sure everything is fully thought through before moving forward.
Step 5: Proposal, Approval & Deposit
Within approximately one week, you’ll receive a detailed proposal.
This includes:
- scope of work
- materials
- pricing
- project details
Once everything looks good, you will approve the proposal and submit your deposit to get put on the schedule.
Step 6: Project Begins & The Final Walkthrough
Once approved and deposit is received, we begin:
- Material ordering
- Utility locates (Miss Dig)
- Equipment coordination
- Final scheduling
When your project is complete, we will walk the project with you to ensure everything meets or exceeds your expectations.
